This Privacy Policy explains how INGCorporated, Inc. d/b/a xHockeyProducts.ca ("xHockeyProducts," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit xHockeyProducts.ca, create an account, request a quote, or place an order. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Quebec's Law 25.

Effective date: July 20, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses, when you create an account, place an order, or contact us.
  • Order and payment information, such as the products you purchase and your payment method. Payments are handled by our payment processors; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Quote request information submitted through our quote forms, such as your facility or organization name, project details, dimensions, and timeline.
  • Device and usage information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with the site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to: process and fulfill orders and quote requests; arrange shipping and freight delivery; provide customer service and warranty support; maintain your account; send order updates and, with your consent, marketing communications; improve the site, our products, and our services; prevent fraud and secure the site; and comply with legal obligations. We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with your consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law, and only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.

3. Payment Processing

Checkout payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as PayPal and Sezzle. Your payment details are transmitted directly to the processor over an encrypted connection and are subject to that processor's privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure the performance of our marketing. Analytics providers such as Google Analytics may set their own cookies and collect usage data on our behalf.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some site features such as the cart may not work properly without them. Where our site displays a cookie preferences tool, you can also manage non-essential cookies there.

5. Marketing Communications

We send commercial electronic messages in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by adjusting your preferences in the My Account area. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages such as order and shipping confirmations.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that host the site, process payments, provide quote forms and email services, and provide analytics, under agreements that limit their use of your information.
  • Shipping and freight carriers, who receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Professional advisors and authorities, where required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights, customers, or others.
  • A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

7. International Transfers

Some of our service providers, including hosting, payment, and analytics providers, are located in the United States or other countries. Your personal information may be processed and stored outside Canada and may be accessible to the courts and authorities of those jurisdictions under their laws. We use contractual and other safeguards to require a comparable level of protection wherever your information is processed.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining order records for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes, and then delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirements.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (TLS) for data in transit and access controls that limit who can view your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any suspected incident, including notifying you and the appropriate authorities where required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The site is a business and consumer storefront and is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Quebec's Law 25, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions; and ask questions about our privacy practices. Quebec residents also have the right to request the cessation of dissemination of their personal information and to receive certain information in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our privacy contact through the Contact Us page. We will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
